I'm Chris, the photographer behind Underatreehouse Photography. Whether it's an elopement on a hidden beach or a wedding surrounded by everyone you love, what draws me in stays the same: the feeling of the day, not the performance of it.
I'm passionate about getting to know the story behind the day itself. Every couple brings something different, from the place they've chosen to the people they've gathered around them and the way they want to celebrate.
I keep things relaxed and make sure everyone's having a great time, all while staying alert for the small, unscripted moments, like the muddy stilettos or the kid asleep under the table.
No two couples celebrate the same way, and that individuality is exactly what I'm there to capture. That approach earned me the "I Do Crew" category at the International Wedding Photographer of the Year Awards in 2024.
