I’ll be honest with you.
Weddings are wild. More often than not, they blow out to be bigger than Ben-Hur, alight with family dramas and who sits where when old mate Uncle Bob can’t stand the sight of your great Grandma Rita. It gets complicated, but I’m here to tell you it doesn’t have to be that way.
Your wedding should be about you. Your love, your crazy story. All the adventures you’ve had and all the ones that’ll happen as you grow old together. It’s about promises and tears (happy ones, I hope), and holding hands and being totally in the moment together. To me, weddings are about marriages, about the life that you are promising to each other, and about you having the best most stress-free day possible.
I’m about the cruisiest wedding photographer you’ve ever met. I have a rough plan and follow your run sheet, but hell - if there’s a kick-ass sunset and a place you want to adventure to for photos, you know I will drop everything (except my $10,000 camera, you can guarantee I won’t drop that) to go exploring with you. Elopements and small weddings are my jam, because a) this gal gets cranky with sore feet and 13+ hours isn’t my thing, and b) it takes everything back to the bones of why you are here and what you are doing - promising to kind of like each other forever.
Capturing families is my jam so if you have your little ones at your wedding, we’ll have an absolute blast together. Weddings are all about family right? What’s cooler than having your own babes there to witness you smooch in front of all your friends and fam (I can hear them now - eeeew mum, dad stop it, you’re embarrassing me!)
