Situated on the edge of the stunning Lower Hawkesbury River, just one hour north of Sydney, is our Broken Bay Pearl Farm’s Shellar Door, where we grow some of the world’s most lustrous and rare Akoya pearls.
Visitors are welcome to come in and browse our selection of locally grown pearls, pearl jewellery, shells and, or enjoy some fresh local oysters at our outdoor seating alongside the river.
We have private or group tours available to share our expertise of farming these incredibly rare gems of the ocean. We can cater to suit groups for hens’ parties for the perfect girl’s day out! There are some beautiful local restaurants nearby that you can visit before or after your tour. Call our friendly team to discuss your options. All experiences start and finish at our Shellar Door in Mooney Mooney. Accessible by road, some boats, and our friends at Sydney Seaplanes. It’s the perfect day trip from Sydney or from the Central Coast.
